This Friday is going to be a Follow Friday for anyone interested in what’s new and innovative in the world of social, search and media in 2014. Mini SAScon, the small but perfectly formed spin-off from Manchester’s search, analytics and social conference SAScon, is taking place at The Studio in Lever Street.
The theme for the event is the convergence of social, PR and search and there’s a fine line-up of headline speakers. Drew Benvie, founder and managing director of communications and social media agency Battenhall will speak about the state of the Digital PR Nation; Phil MacKechnie, head of organic performance at Travelsupermarket.com will talk all things SEO and online marketing; while Dominic Burch, head of social at Asda (Walmart UK), will give his thoughts on why content and context are the key to making meaningful social connections.
Melbourne is delighted to be sponsoring Mini SAScon and we’ll be kicking off the day by hosting our own round table discussion entitled “What is the Shape of Digital for Brands in 2014.”
Simon Wharton, founder of Mini SAScon and managing director of award-winning Manchester online marketing agency and Melbourne customer PushON, has put together a go-to conference for anyone interested in digital and marketing and we’re looking forward to a fact and fun-filled day.
The aim of Mini SAScon is to educate, share best practice, inspire and enthuse by showcasing the latest thinking and technologies in digital marketing. So, if you’re not lucky enough to have a ticket it will be worth following what’s happening on the day via the Twitter hashtag #SAScon. We’ll share as much as we can via our own Twitter feed @melbournehost and we’ll share with you the digital content that’s produced once the conference is over.
Remember to #FF @sasconference on Friday!
